I have narrowed down an issue I'm having with skype 5 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit after installing SP1. When SP1 is installed skype freezing and locks up the laptop like you can't believe. You hare to restart to resolve the issue. Once I remove SP1 skype works fine. I'd really like to be able to install SP1 and run some version of skype because our family video chats with our nephew almost every night. I was using a newer version of skype but the company's site suggested I use an older version that would be compatible with Windows 7 64 Bit version. Yeah, right. :rolleyes:
