By 2015 we may need the 100 Mbps bandwidth to download the latest M$ critical updates. :D At the current bloat rate (does Moore's Law apply to software size?) there are going to be some huge downloads in the future.

Heh Heh Heh.

Judging by the size of a Vista HP Printer software I had to download, I think you hit the nail on the head.

I imagine that downloading DVD's will also gain in popularity.

Good one, Terry .. :lol:

Those who still have dial-up because they live in remote areas or can't
afford broadband may have to move or give up their computer.....unless
M$ starts mailing them CDs for each huge critical update (I remember
SP2). But by the time they get the CD, the computer will probably have
been hacked beyond repair .. :fish:
