June Byrnes sent me this....incredible!

Britains Got Talent - A Star Is Born
See how gobsmacked Simon Cowell and the other judges are
when this guy starts to sing. Amazing.

mommalina, the UK created pop idol and the American's copied us. Just like the computer*, or the "I want you" posters

*Ok, the german's built the first computer, but the UK was the first to design one

Didn't know that, Mr T. We do give you credit for the Magna Carta, however!

Yes he won

It will be interesting to see if he gets a cosmetic/wardrobe makeover, remains
humble, etc. Please keep me posted, BM.

We never get "all" the news here, be it political or social. God forbid we find
out that someone can make it in the UK also! ..

Lina.

Why are you glad she didn't win?

The "opera man" was on the Today Show (US TV), either this morning or
yesterday morning (senior moment).

Very impressive, still very humble. He was not resentful but thanked those
who had bullied him so much as a youngster that he felt isolated and turned
to singing.

He will start working on an album Saturday.

When he sang on the Today Show, he was accompanied by a chorus....which,
along with the audience, was moved to tears!

Thanks for bringing "opera man" (can't remember his name) to our
attention, BM .. :)
