If I remember correctly, Bit Defender is your only problem?

Please copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the following text in the quote to Notepad. Save it as "All Files" and name it FixServices.bat Please save it on your desktop.

@echo off
sc stop "LIVESRV"
sc delete "LIVESRV"
sc stop "VSSERV"
sc delete "VSSERV"
sc stop "XCOMM"
sc delete "XCOMM"
del %0
exit

Double click FixServices.bat. A window will open and close. This is normal.

Now delete these folders.
C:\Program Files\BitDefender
C:\Program Files\Common Files\BitDefender

Post a new HijackThis log and lets see how that went.

I have just become aware that i have a tool called FileASSASSIN on my malwarebytes antimalware program which it says is used for deleting locked files on your system, could possibly use it to delete the file if you like but have never used it before.

Did you try the BitDefender Uninstall Tool? It should make a proper job of it.

http://kb.bitdefender.com/KB333-en--How-to-uninstall-BitDefender.html

Run that then remove these.

Run HijackThis, select Do a system scan only and place checks against the following entries (if they are still present):

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {34C3D35A-B190-4193-90CA-4EE3782C9A5D} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: BitDefender Toolbar - {381FFDE8-2394-4f90-B10D-FC6124A40F8C} - C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2008\IEToolbar.dll

WITH ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED Click on Fix Checked exit HijackThis and reboot.

Let me know how that goes.

Ok here how I went Scotty.Tried the 1st option, thought I had deleted the program through add/remove programs, well I had but it was still there,so tried that and it wouldnt delete. Then dl the uninstall tool and it worked like a charm,my right click window is clean and organized.I also done the rest that you mentioned i.e-
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {34C3D35A-B190-4193-90CA-4EE3782C9A5D} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: BitDefender Toolbar - {381FFDE8-2394-4f90-B10D-FC6124A40F8C} - C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2008\IEToolbar.dll

All 3 deletes that you wanted done are done and after this restart I will post another hjt log.

All good Wayno. Now we know BD can be as tricky as Norton and McDuffy to remove then.

Couple more lines to fix.

Run HijackThis, select Do a system scan only and place checks against the following entries (if they are still present):

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {85d1f590-48f4-11d9-9669-0800200c9a66} - C:\WINDOWS\bdoscandel.exe
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Uninstall BitDefender Online Scanner v8 - {85d1f590-48f4-11d9-9669-0800200c9a66} - C:\WINDOWS\bdoscandel.exe
O16 - DPF: {5D86DDB5-BDF9-441B-9E9E-D4730F4EE499} (BDSCANONLINE Control) - http://download.bitdefender.com/reso...an8/oscan8.cab

WITH ALL OTHER WINDOWS CLOSED Click on Fix Checked exit HijackThis and reboot.

And that's you good to go.

All good.

Delete the older versions of Java and download the newest.
Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components.

Close any programmes you may have running, ESPECIALLY your web browser
Click Start > Control Panel.
Click Add/Remove Programs.
Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
Repeat as many times as necessary to remove all versions of Java.
Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.

Then download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) (http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp) (5th one down the list), which is JRE6u7, and click Yes at the page warning. Under "Platform" select Windows, then check the box to accept the Licence Agreement. Click Yes at the second page warning before downloading the Offline file.
To avoid using the Sun Download manager just click on the link below Windows Offline Installation which says jre-6u7-windows-i586-p.exe.
