Combofix is probably overkill for this. Let's just see what is there.
Please download random's system information tool (RSIT) (http://images.malwareremoval.com/random/RSIT.exe) and save it to your desktop.
Double click on RSIT.exe to run it. RSIT will start running.
Please read through the disclaimer and click on Continue.
RSIT will start running. When done, 2 logs will be produced. The first one, log.txt, will be maximized, the second one, info.txt, will be minimized.
Please post both logs in your next reply. 1 log per reply please.
Thanks Scotty,will do.
I presume it was Antivirus XP 2008. Screen went red,A large Black Icon stayed in the centre of my monitor, desktop vanished, crippled near everything, and I pannicked.Popups Everywhere.
Ran MBAM Quick scan, and deleted near 60 infections.
Dumped all bar 1 restore point, and all Temp files.
Managed to get into safe mode networking, run MBAM again and found more.
Managed to download SmitfraudFix and ran.
Got out of safe mode and ran MBAM and Nod32 and showed clear.
Set a new restore point and dumped the previous restore point,I couldnt before. Nod32 Did not stop this Baddy, however did stop other trogans that hit me at the same time.
Giving you a run down on what has occurred todate,Scotty.
Will download and do your instructions shortly. Thanks.
Edit This is what Nod 32 caught at the same time.

A thought while waiting for Scotty.
I have lost all confidence, in Nod32.To let AntiVirus XP 2008, in when all guards are in place, has left me bewildered.NOD32 not only didnt stop it, at the door, but also on the second scan, prior to installing whatever program it was,it failed again. Also failing to detect the 2 infected files, which Jotti analysed (previous posts) This is how Nod32 is set and allways has been.
http://i35.tinypic.com/9u566c.png
Wondering is Nod32, really as good as all the hoop-la, on KH suggests.
I will say with Anti-Vir in 18 mths, let nothing through whatsoever.
Maybe Rich or someone can answer ,why this has occurred? Thanks:)
Thought I would include the latest SAS Log also,Scotty.

Well folks I just had the same experience and it's the first virus or spyware attack on one of my main machines in about 10 years. Nod32 and Sas let it in and it came in with the Windows Security Center "red beacon" stating "your security center reports antivirus out of date" and I looked over and NOd32 is green and normal, not red like it would be out of date. It also seems to me I am on Vista and I believe this was the XP Security Center icon as well but I knew what it was doing is trying to feed in all directions for install and I scanned with Sas and it's gone. Obviously the evil genius behind them know about Threatsense and can get through it now but don't give up on Nod, this is spyware first of all not a virus and their prowess is for virus detection...and there is nothing out there that would have caught this. I did not have Spyware Terminator on this pc so I don't know if it would have caught it but I know all the rest of what is out there would not have because they didn't before. Knowing Nod as I have all these years, they already know the issue and new updates will fix this hole anyway, but there is no substitiute for paying attention folks.

Hi Doug
One last check up, given what you have told me.
Download ATF (Atribune Temp File) Cleaner© by Atribune (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1) to your desktop.
If the above link doesnt work use this alternative ATF (Atribune Temp File) Cleaner© by Atribune (http://www.nutnworks.com/downloads/ATF_Cleaner.exe)
Double-click ATF Cleaner.exe to open it.
Under Main choose:
Windows Temp
Current User Temp
All Users Temp
Cookies
Temporary Internet Files
Prefetch
Java Cache
*The other boxes are optional*
Then click the Empty Selected button.
Firefox:
Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click NO at the prompt.
Opera:
Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click NO at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
*Note* If you do not have Firefox or Opera, those options will be greyed out.
Lets run an F-Secure online scan it will scan for Viruses, Spyware and RootKits:
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Start Scanning button. A window will pop up.
Allow the Active X control to be installed on your computer, then click the Accept button
Click Full System Scan and allow the components to download and the scan to complete.
If malware is found, check Submit samples to F-Secure then select Automatic cleaning
When cleaning has finished, click Show report (this will open an Internet Explorer window containing the report)
Highlight and Copy (CTRL + C) the complete report, and Paste (CTRL + V) in a new reply to this post
If Automatic cleaning with Submit samples hangs, click Cancel, then New Scan
When the cleaning option is presented, Uncheck Submit samples to F-Secure
Click Automatic cleaning
When cleaning has finished, click Show report (this will open an Internet Explorer window containing the report)
Highlight and Copy (CTRL + C) the complete report, and Paste (CTRL + V) in a new reply to this post
Note: This scan will only work with Internet Explorer.
You must be logged on a administrator rights to run this scan.
The scan may take a few hours. Remember to turn off your anti-virus prior to beginning the scan, to reduce the time it takes.

Hi Doug
Something still seems a little off.
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.
Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running the tool:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.
The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.
Once Recovery Console is installed, you should see a blue screen prompt like the one below:
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s63/Mac701/RC1-4.gif
Click Yes to allow Combofix to continue scanning for malware.
When done, a log will be produced. Please post that log and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.
1.Do not mouse-click Combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
2. ComboFix may reset a number of Internet Explorer's settings, including making I-E the default browser.
3. Combofix prevents autorun of ALL CD, floppy and USB devices to assist with malware removal & increase security. If this is an issue or makes it difficult for you -- please tell your helper.
4. CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.
In your next reply post:
ComboFix.txt
New HijackThis log taken after the above scan has run
4AM here,I will have another look, bit later today.
Thanks so much for all your help.
