I just tried to install your latest update, zapSetup_61_744_001, and about 12% through I received a message that a file in my documents and settings folder could not be accessed. I clicked OK since this was the only option available. A message appeared stating the computer had be restarted to complete the update process. Upon restarting, the computer continually rebooted after the Welcome screen.
I had to restore from a Ghost image.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem and what did they do about it?
I sent an e-mail to ZA tech support.

Joe,
When you ran the setup, did it extract files? Did you change the destination of the setup selection?
I usually run my extracts to a specific directory that I create so I know where the files are - but some programs want to be in the Doc & Settings / username / local settings / temp folder no matter what.
Of course, a downloaded file can get corrupted in the download with a lost packet that doesn't show up until installation time.

As I have done in the past, I double clicked the EXE file and accepted the defaults.
I going to wait to see how ZA responds. I could try it again but it's a pain to have to restore if I encounter the same problem. At least I know that Ghost image restore works.

I just tried to install your latest update, zapSetup_61_744_001...
I have 6.1.737 installed. I do have checked "Check for updates automatically." However I checked for updates manually and a popup window saying "Please wait, checking for updates with Zone Lab..." stayed on the screen for about 2 minutes and then I cancelled. I tried again, having the same results.
This could be an indication that there is a problem with the Zone Lab Update.

Zone Labs servers must be stressed out today.
There is also a new build of the free version.
Took me quite a while to get a manual dl.
The auto update server is either crapped or experiencing heavy load.
