Rich, I wannabe a guinea pig for tech writers!
Write instructions idiot-proof enough so that even I will understand them!

Newbies, the computer-challenged, and once in a while, even the computer-savvy mess up their computers trying to follow ambiguous, non-sequitur, or just dumb directions.

And I'd also like to be a guinea pig for those who write legislation and related "instruction manuals"; i.e., the Medicare Part D Plan. Need I say more?

Lina, I hate to tell you this, but your graduated out of the "n00b" class long ago. Not to mention this again, but you are one of our proudest accomplishments having gone from rank amature beginner to Tech level status in such a short period of time!

Doug, I'm far from Tech-Level Status! It will never happen. I'm not as advanced nor as sharp as you think. For example, what does "n00b" mean? ..... Newbie? :help:

I've only gotten as far as I have because of the KH posse members, most of whom I met on the RBL BBS. You've all been patient, kind, respectful, gracious, positive .... I'm running out of adjectives. You have never been demeaning no matter how dumb or illogical a question I asked! (Watch how you explain "n00b" ; don't make a liar out of me.) :)

I don't ask too many dumb questions these days, thanks to XP. W98 was a nightmare; you guys kept me from throwing my computer out the window.

I'm a nit-picker, obsessive-compulsive, detail-oriented, and get annoyed when things just don't make sense (computers and politics). Those traits were advantageous when I studied languages. If I were in my 20's again, who knows, I could become a computer guru. Too late. (Thank God?)
