Installing A Hot Fix ?

I downloaded the latest version of the Belarc Advisor, (ty dbarrow) & noticed that two hot fixes were not installed. How do i go about installing these hot fixes? 1. KB885836 5/9/2005 MS04-041
2. KB896727 8/9/2005 MS05-038

Did the updates fail or just were not installed?
There were a couple updates that were replaced by later updates last year.

You can lookup the info by searching the number in the MSKB to see what it was.

Belarc said "REINSTALL"

So.... re-install
Go to MS
Search MS by the number
It will take you to a link for a download
Execute the download

One is for a Wordpad security update
The other is an IE security update

Both should have installed when you updated, or the updater should show an error if they failed.
