Prior to my recent PC problems, I had an icon on my Desktop that when clicked brought me directly to MS Outlook Calendar.
Does anyone know how to set this up? I can not recover the previous one.
PS: My previous Address book was lost. Anyone who exchanged emails with me, please send me a quick email so that I can capture yours and establish my new Address Book.
Thanks,
Sam

I easily created an M$ Outlook Calendar icon by right clicking Calendar in the Outlook folder list and dragging it to my desktop.

Terry:
I am using MS Outlook 2003. There is not an "OutLook Folder" The only one that comes close is one called OFFICE11 in Program Files.
About a year ago, someone on this board (or some other board) showed me how to set it up so that when I clicked on the Outlook icon, it went directly to the Calendar.
If you or anyone else knows, I would appreciate the help.

Sam - I did a search in Outllook and found the following:
1) in Outlook, Tools menu, click Options
2) Click on the Other tab, then click on Advanced Options
3) There's a drop down menu titled "Startup in this folder" - select Calendar in the drop down menu.

Sam,
I know you have Lotus Smarte Suite - I have been using Lotus Organizer for 8 years now through up to the current version WHICH interfaces with OE just nicely and have NOT had one problem in all those years.
I have never lost my .organizer file. Not once has it ever been corrupted. I have moved it from one computer to another with no problems. With the last version it even was networkable so I can access it from several computers at the same time without any other software needed.
Outlook "will" network IF you have exchange setup otherwise it is a single access app only.

Thanks Kelly-- it worked. I posted another question that concerns the way the StartMenu works under the forum "Windows XP".
