I was just made aware of an important update to NOD32 that was released last month, 4/04/06. You can get the facts at this site.
http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/429892/30/0/threaded
This does not effect version 2.51.26. Earlier versions of NOD32 should be updated. To find your version click on NOD32 System Tools>Information>Information on installed componets>version.
You can get the update from Este here.
http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php
You can install over the current version, but run update afterwards. You'll probably get a popup from XP security center notifying you of the outdated definitions, but hey we already knew that.
Have your Username and password handy for the download.

Rainbow32, :welcome: to the KH Forum! Glad to have you aboard. Your comments about Nod32 (any connection to your handle?) should be helpful to the faithful Nod32 fans who use this forum. Thank you!
We invite you to also join us in our KH Computer Help Desk Paltalk chatroom. We are there each Wednesday night, from 9 pm until whenever. Here's how to get there:

KH Computer Help Desk
* you need to download Paltalk messenger 8.3 software first if you don't already have Paltalk on your system.
There you can find or give one-on-one, hands-on help for computer problems, teach or learn about new developments in computers and software. Computer subjects get first priority. If there is a lull, then humor, finance, and whatever can be discussed intermittently. We try not to talk about politics or religion .... there's enough disagreement about antivirus scanners. LOL
Again, welcome, Rainbow32! :yo:

Sorry, I was referring to rainbow32. I won't be able to make it to paltalk. Too much homework and stuff to do.
In reference to "Rainbow32's" url regarding the NOD32 vulnerability. I emailed "Eset"-NOD32 support & questioned them about the vulnerability. Here is there reply. "Hello,
Yes, that's what .26 took care of.
If you are a stand alone computer, it won't pertain to you, but you're more than welcome to download and install it."
Thank you,
Eset Tech Support
