Can't find any rock solid info on either, any suggestion for research. only thing I've found so far is on Sli is it has to do with bridging graphics cards. I'd like to research the theory, for better understanding. Thanks for any help.

I don't know too much about ULi, but Nvidia just bought them out recently. They specialize in core logic technology.

SLI (scalable link interface) is a technology used by Nvidia to link 2 or more graphics cards together. Make sure to note AFR vs. SFR Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalable_Link_Interface) has a pretty good description.

Put in a Uli driver on my defunct DFi board and it crashed and burnt to the point I had to reformat. Of course many things caused that on that board.
