Has anyone tried buying a physical wall phone lately? It's tough out there. I already went through a few trial periods with some manufacturers and can not find the phone for me.
This is what I am looking for:
- Cordless WALL mounted with base station. In other words have functions and keypad on the side of the phone.
- Phone plugs into telephone wall jack.
- The base station has the charger that hold the handset.
- Can be expandable but does not need to.
- Caller-ID
- Message voice mail indicator. This is different than message waiting. Message waiting works with the voice recorder of a phone. Voice mail Indicator works with the service offered by your phone company to accept voice mail.
- MAJOR request:
- One that has a good voluming and good speaker phone. First, I am a little hard of hearing and second, I am on the phone many times while on the PC. I like the hands-free speaker option. The speaker must be of good quality.
I have checked places like Radio Shack, Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears and some spots out on the web. No luck in finding what I need. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate them.
Thanks,
Sam
