*** Be carefull playing with SERVICES!!!
Make changes one at a time and write down what you changed to what setting from original setting of X.
Go slowly and wait a day or two for any adverse effects to show up. You won't know what change made something stop working until you go to use it!
*Check DEPENDENCIES ...
Many of the SERVICES are inter-related to one another.
Turning off a service by using DISABLE setting may cause other services to not function if they have a dependency on that service.
If in doubt, choose MANUAL setting. The service will not start and run in the background but will still start and run if called by another service or function that needs it.
Tweaking SERVICES can vastly improve performance by cutting down on the number of items demanding system resources. Just tread slowly and carefully! This is definately not the place for a shotgun approach!
