I'm really drawing a blank. Late last year I setup my daughter with Verizon DSL and MSN. SInce I have a new computer here at my house that she will be using I was trying to figure out what I could install before going to her house so that Verizon DSL will setup faster. I'm trying to thinkl of what software I installed for her to get
DSL and MSN to work and so far I'm drawing a blank. I cannot remember a thing about the install. Does anybody have any idea of how to make the setup easier and faster?

Larry,
Go and plug it in the DSL will work doing nothing. What you did before was to set up the modem, and that is done now so it will plug and play and if I were you, I would not use that awful msm software, I never install any of that for clients and I uninstall the Msm browser for every system I work on. You set up email as the email addy. Server settings are "incoming.verizon.net" and "outgoing.verizon.net" and you need to check "my server requires authentication" and off you go!!!
