Smokey, I'm curious. We are getting more and more non-U.S. members. Will our spell-check only accommodate the U.S. version of English? How do other forums handle this?

You have a spell ckecker ??
i use ie spell. works in most forums.. www.iespell.com (http://www.iespell.com) for ie
There is a spell checker with our vBulletin software (vbSpell) which is not working correctly at the moment. :frown: It is accessed from the bar next to Submit Reply and Preview Post bars on the advanced reply screen.
ieSpell is also available (if you have downloaded it from the url you mentioned) by using the ABC-check icon on the top of the message box. I use it all the time and think it is great. Unfortunately it works with Internet Explorer but not Firefox.
We hope to get vbSpell working for everybody.

I was wondering if when we finally get a spell-check here, would it be only for U.S. English?
Seriously, I'm curious. What do non-U.S. members of U.S. forums use as a spell-check? Do some forums provide dual spell-checks? Almost anything is possible today with computers.

I am not certain if English language spell checkers come with dialects. However, many spell checkers including ieSpell and, I think, vbSpell have the facility to add words. With a little bit of training, you can get your spell checker to speak with any accent :) that you want.
