Yakalike is a Firefox plugin that places a toolbar at the bottom of the browser, where you can chat with others that have the plugin installed and are visiting the same website that you are.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Hit the download link and install this to your Firefox browser.
You will now see Yaklike at the bottom right of your browser bar.
Click on that to open or close the chat box.
Next step: click on the Yakalike box on the left, it will take you to their site to register/create a user.
Enter your logon in the chat box and logon.
Check Stay on current channel which will show

I noticed the latest Firefox update included Yakalike. Neat little app!

If you open Yakalite and login, look in the lower right at the Popular Channels link, click on that and note that KH is #2!

Be sure to logon to Yakalike when browsing so we can get that to #1 !!!

The Yakalike extension should show in FF Tools\Extensions.
It should show Yakalike in the bottom right tray of your FF.
Click on that to open it, logon with the user name you registered.

I thought something was wrong as I have none of what you described.

Download the extension and re-install, re-start FF. It should show up in the bottom tray when properly installed as well as showing in Extensions.

Opens chat box
click logon and logon
type in the box...

Click Stay on current channel to keep it on KH otherwise it will change with the URL you go to, ie: you can browse other pages and still be in the KH chat.
It does not change with tabs. Going to another tab, it will stay up in the one you logged in on.

if you havent registered but want to try it out, there is an option to login using a "temporary" log-in name.
