Very strange downloading problem

My wife was having problems [no, not with me :) ]but with gettin a webcam to work, this morning I uninstalled everything went to the Veo website and tried downloading the installation software since she can't find the installation cd anywhere anymore, double-clicking on the download doesn't do anything so I went to the same site on my pc and downloaded from the same exact icon without any problems, she told me that she had been having trouble with this download since last night.

What I'd like to know, we have identical pc's and are on the same network here at home, her pc is the MAIN pc connected to the router, mine has a wireless connection, why was I able to download that software as regular and cannot from hers?

I would delete cookies, history, and temp files from your browser and try again.

mind explaining why this might work please?

Well, the browser keeps track of where you've been. If something got corrupted when you first went there, the browser may be looking at a history file instead of trying to reach out to the web.
