Converting Quicktime files to MPEG

My digital camera records short video files in Quicktime (MOV) format. I'd like to play the files using Windows Media Player in a MPEG file format. Is there any way I can convert the MOV files to MPEG format? I don't know if Quicktime Pro will perform this options. Anyway, I don't have the Quicktime Pro version.

John, remember the website videohelp. Go there and click on the Tools option, look for TMPGEnc. It will convert them.

I found a program and used the evalution version to complete the conversion from MOV to MPEG file. The program is called, ImTOO Mov Converter. It worked quickly and was easy.

I just searched the web for it and found it. It really is easy and quick to use. I only have the evaluation version for 30 days. The full version costs $29.99.
