Did you ever see the Voyager episode that introduced another Q?
His/her's only desire was to die as a result of absolute boredom.

The philosophy behind that episode is a weakened version of a philosophical argument that I've used many times:

If an entity "knows all", then there would be no thing (nothing) to experience. In fact, thought itself would cease as there would be nothing to think about. As such, an all-knowing entity would be in a state of comatose.
