MS WORD loses return address

In Word 2000 when doing envelopes my return address recently no longer appears in the return address window and I have to cut and paste it in. I DID check off to remember it when it asks and it now asks all the time since it does not hold my return address.

I may have inadvertently disturbed some setting by accident and anyway the question is if anyone has had this annoying problem what was the fix if any?

click "Tools", select "Options", select "User Information" tab.
In the Mailing List area, enter your mailing address, click ok.

Wow I winder how I could have nixed that setting. I must have installed some app because I did nothing directly in Tools - Options that I am aware of. Actually I don't remember ever doing that but I installed Word about two years ago!! ANyway this seems to do the trick!
