The mobile phone I have uses ringtones that are WMA files. I merely changed the file extension of an MP3 song I have and made it a WMA file. The WMA file plays on Windows Media Player. Is there any freeware that will convert MP3 files to WMA? Is merely changing the file extension to a WMA file going to be enough for my phone to recognize the file format and play it?
