Hi,
I'm on my Freespire PC at this moment running the Firefox version 1.5.0.4
that comes pre-installed. As I'm writing this message I see it is spell checking
as I type. Wow! Very cool.

My MS Window computer has Firefox v1.5.0.2 and that does NOT spell check.

Is the spell checker feature part of the Linux system or is it built into Firefox?
If i upgrade Firefox on my MS Windows PC, will it do the spell check?

vanilla Firefox dosn't have spellcheck yet but it is planned. The freespire devs added it themselves,

Not sure how they did it but you can get the spellcheck in windows with this extension (http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/)

Try Konqueror (file and web browser, like a mix of Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer) for browsing the web too. It has built-in spell check.

Knoqueror is ok, very fast and a good file browser but I just can't get over its layout and lack of extensions. Try it though it just may be the browser for you.
