He doesn't need University :first:

Hi, there, Chryssi! .... :welcome: to our forum! Glad to have you aboard.

Chryssi, we encourage and appreciate suggestions and comments about our relatively new board! Please post them in the KH Feedback forum for the immediate attention of our administrator and moderators.

We hope you can also join us in our KH Computer Help Desk Paltalk chatroom each Wednesday night, from 9 pm EST until whenever. Here's how to get there:

www.paltalk.com *
Chatrooms
Rooms
Computers & Technology
Computer Help & Advice
KH Computer Help Desk

* you need to download Paltalk messenger 8.3 software first if you don't already have Paltalk on your system.

In the chatroom you can receive or give one-on-one, hands-on help for computer problems, alert us or learn about new developments in computers and software. Computer subjects get first priority. If there is a lull, then humor, finance, and whatever can be discussed intermittently. We try not to talk about politics or religion .... there's enough disagreement about antivirus scanners. LOL

For more information about the KH Computer Help Desk Paltalk Chatroom, see: http://www.kickenhardware.net/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2006-6-14&e=1&c=1

Again, welcome, Chryssi .... :clap2:

It's night here now 9.13 so it depends what time you are going to be there.
I will try by the way and we'll see if we meet.

The only thing that you want to avoid with paltalk is it will install to startup with paltalk and Palnetaware and I would go "Run,msconfig,ok,startup" and uncheck both instances hit apply and reboot...we mostly use Win Patrol which will prevent any additions to startup unless approved.
Paltalk does not install any other software.
The room will not be visible until one of us opens it and that doesn't happen until 9 PM EST and I haven't a clue what time that is in UK.

I have just tried to download paltalk and see this mcafee site advisor
advises that Paltalk installs extra software

Paltalk has downloaded an extra icon of "upgrade Paltalk" that's all, my antivirus was working when i was dowloading and found nothing.
