This is just like Panda, they make you fill out a long form just
to see the presentation. I don't like this company.

I installed their anti-virus software on 3 different Win98 computers
one day and it messed up each one in a different way. When
I called their tech support line they told me, "oh we don't test
on those older operating systems". Funny thing is, when you
go to buy the product it says it works on Win98.

Panda was the very first AV product I ever came across back
in the 1980's. They used to have a good product and attitude.
Things have changed. This company makes you fill out a form
to get access to their FREE article so really it's just a way to
harvest yuor personal information. This is an good example of
why you need to steer clear of PANDA.

The people here a KH Forums could probably write
a better article anyway. :)

I'll start it off.

1.) Use Firefox browser instead of IE for most of your web browsing.
Only use IE when the website is one you can trust and requires IE
to render properly.

2.) Do not download and install FREE Toolbars, Search Bars, or Screensavers
unless you first reseach that particular product to see if it contains malware.
If you don't feel it's worth spending 15 to 30 minutes researching, then don't
even think about downloading it.

3.) If you must use IE, or a browser like AOL's browser that utilizes some
of IE's security settings, use Spybot's Immunize feature that will load
a long list of bad websites into the restricted zone. This will protect you
if you happen to land on one of the many know bad websties.

4.) .....

Hey, let's NOT read Panda's article until we've compiled
our own list. After we are done we can check to see how
our list compares to Panda's.
