View Full Version : NOD32 License Renewal?

I just received notice that my copy of NOD32 needs a license renewal in 10 days.

For the past couple years, I have been focused on NOD32 and have been very pleased with it. This "tunnel vision" has caused me to ignore other antivirus software.

My question is: is NOD32 still the software of choice or should I move on to something else?

Thanks,
Sam

I think you'll find that many users here belive NOD32 to be the best. Personally, I've never tried it. I'd say if you're happy with the product and it's performing well, then contine to use it.

Thnx for the referral, Dan.

Sam, see my PM.

NOD, IMO, is still tops for the knowledgeable consumer, although eSet, in all honesty, has been screwing around with little resellers like me. It is primarily an AV with significant Spyware protection (as the genres continue to get blurred), but it is NOT a suite that includes a firewall, anti-spammer, anti-pop up, and you know the rest of the story. The GUI is still from the Dark Ages, IMO. Generally, you set it (if you need assistance, I am your first line of offense) and forget it. Coupled with Spyware Blaster, I rarely do a scan anymore.

I still believe it's the best...though Bit Defender is great and Kaspersky is very effective. My personal recommendatiojn always goes to Nod32.
