I configured a Linksys WRT54G wireless router today. They wanted to use a password for the wireless network. I selected WEP and was presented with a screen that I hadn't seen on other router. Usually, I just put in a customer-defined password and that's it.
This router asked for a passphrase, it then generated 4 keys. You select one to use as default and then that's the password that you use to connect to the wireless network. This password is not user-friendly.
Can someone explain what's going on here?
