I have just saved a couple of web pages that contained images but when opened from the saved file, some images are missing.

have saved a web page with some images but when opening saved page, cant see images, a shape instead.

Hello try running this browser check (http://www.browsertune.com/bt2kfast/)while i investigate.. it will check your settings

and see this article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/878461) as it involves changing the registry please ask for help if you are not too sure...

and i had better inquire what browser you are using please

What probobly happened is that when you saved the page the links change, pictures aren't part of a webpage just linked to, so its now looking for them on your hard drive.

There may be a way to get a browser to automatically grab the immages but I don't know one. you may be able to manually downlaod the pics then put them in the same folder as the html.

I thought if you saved a webpage complete it would do just that.. although i have a sneaky suspicion that it is to do with ms java

I tested before posting BM, that links think happens on my end
