17 " Samsung LCD Monitor

I just returned from Office Max where I purchased a 17" LCD monitor. The ad had them for $99.99 only on Sept.22 & 23 so if you want one you must hurry. I happened to just see the ad a few minutes ago. I went to look at them and the manager said they were sold out but he would order me one at the same price. They had one on the shelf he offered me for 10 % off so I took it after looking at the screen for bad spots. So for $90 I have another LCD monitor. I just hooked it up to the computer running vista and it looks good..

Thanks for pointing it out. Too bad I missed it, because even my parents probably would have let me buy that.

Edit: Just subscribed to daily e-mail updates on this forum so I won't miss something like this again. ;)

What I learned was the guys were PriceMatching the LCD to Staples for the $99.99 and Staples had a $40 rebate. So they were really getting a good deal..

That is a good deal. :dizzy: I didn't know they would match the price if there was a rebate involved.
