Have any of you been following the GPLv3 debate? you can easily find it on any linux news site or with google. If so who's side are you on and why?
I'm with the open source camp, I believe that trying to prevent hardware companies from blocking unsigned binaries with a software license is just futile, they'll simply use propritory software giving their customers a worse, more expensive, product. And the public loses source code that the hardware company may publish.
