Again, I was shadowing a thread somewhere else, router problem, the suggested answer that worked was ipconfig /flushdns in the runbox, I know ipconfig, could someone explain the atribute flushdns to me. thanks

was it really from the runbox, or is this from cmd and they have written runbox by mistake.

ipconfig /flushdns is run from the command prompt.

Thanks PeteF, very good link as I am starting down the road of cmd:

By using the 'ipconfig /flushdns' command, you delete the contents of the DNS resolver cache, meaning that your system will now recheck its settings to see where it should be going to get DNS addresses.
