Intel Quad Core Chips

Does anyone have any news on the new intel quad core chips? I believe I read they are coming out very soon. Won't this make the dual core chips dated already? Does anyone know any info. on the price and performance for the quad core chips?

Don't know, but it looks like Asus is getting ready :

I also realize you aren't used to being able to "search" for anything meaningful where we all come from, but ours works great here with this forum software, you should try it!
