I was doing some work at a site in Philly today. While there, I checked into the Kickenhardware site using my own laptop. I was greeted with a notice from Websense Enterprise saying:
Your organizattion's Internet use policy restricts access to this web page at this time.
Reason: The Websense category "Uncategorized" is filtered.
Just passing it on ....

Most places will filter forums and message boards.

I have a whole list of black listed sites that my clients want to have no access to from within their LANs.
You don't have to be on the RBL list to be "black balled", owner says no Yahoo.com > then there is no Yahoo.com allowed on the inside of the firewall router. I just had to add myspace.com to a firewall because an employee was getting all kinds of personal phone calls from her blog on it.
Tony, I don't think KH was RBL - it more like the owner decided which sites were going to be allowed and no other sites are accepted.

Thants the system they have at college, but if you ask the will unfilter almost anything.
I got dailymotion.com unfiltered last week :D
