I got dotNet upgrade yesterday. I do not know why i got it.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

SUN invented the JAVA engine, so that all users in the world could use applications, applets and scripts written in JAVA language. Java is an interpreting language.

After a couple of years Microsoft decided to construct a JAVA engine of their own. They had to find a good name for it, and settled for dotNet Framework.

This framework is mainly an empty box, or environment, that you fill with stuff you buy from Microsoft. eg programming packages like Visual Basic and Visual C.

There have been discussions between SUN and Microsoft about who should get the money.

SUN also created the computer SparcStation.

*Oh, but they sucked in ATI with the ATI CCC panel.
You can't get an ATI vid driver update without it. CCC has caused more aggrevation and infuriated so many ATI users.
Never works right and refuses to work at all with the latest .Net versions.
TG for Ray Adams ATI Tray Tool or I would have an Nvidia card...
