It looks interesting. How can they give away some of those items for free?

From their FAQ:
Is there any charge for your materials?
All products ordered through the HHMI Catalog are free. There is no shipping charge and returned postage is guaranteed anywhere in the world.
Again, how can they do this? Some of the stuff looks very interesting, but I'm cautious of any site that gives away free stuff. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll look into it later. :)
