Seems like a great price for a 300GB SATA hard drive. I also like the Maxtor brand.

Take heed my friend to the words "if you are not afraid of"... You haven't bought for a while is my guess. The going life span of most Maxtoe drives these days is a little less than 2 months. many are dead out of the box and I have been throwing out old ones rather than replacing them with more of the same since "the newer the worse" seems to be the rule. You can really screw a good build with a few of them.
