Good stuff, dbarrow! I like the way the hardware is itemized. This is just how I'm putting my list together. The info. really helped me. I have been planning to just use the onboard sound, but if sound cards are that cheap I might go for one. I'm going to try to limit my total expense to less than $1K. I want to get the most bang for my buck.
Funny, George Ou (the writer of the blog) really touts the intel dual core. He claims it can be overclocked more than a comparable AMD chip. The price was also very good.
