GeForce 8800 series video card owners are up in arms as NVIDIA has left them out to dry in terms of WHQL certified Vista drivers. GeForce 8 series SLI owners have been completely shut out of Vista DX10 gaming support. What to expect now? ...

Well, if it took M$ FIVE years to write the code for the OS - I guess we can kiss any hardware before 2006 good-bye!

Hardware manufacturers don't have the several billion dollars to work through legacy drivers to update them for Vista - better to just start off fresh (get out your billfolds folks - it is going to be a LONG shopping trip).

That's weird, because, I have a Geforce 6200 and Nvidia has drivers for Vista for it. I'm dual booting xp and vista and installed drivers for my 6200 downloaded from Nvidia.

I know there are other driver issues too, but it still seems weird that they don't have vista drivers for newer hardware when the 6200 is a 2006 hardware.
