BM, can you do the following?
1) Go to Start > Run > dcomcnfg > click OK
2) Double-click "Component Services"
3) Double-click "Computers"
4) Right-click "My Computer" > select Properties
5) Open the "COM Security" tab
6) Under "Launch and Activation Permissions" click "Edit Limits"
7) Make sure "Administrators" is selected
8) Take a screenshot
Then, go through steps 6-8 again, but click "Edit Default"
After, if you could attach those screenshots, that may
be of some help.

Thanks, BM. Can you take a few more screenshots for me?
1) Open the "COM Security" tab
2) Under the first section, "Access Permissions," select the button labeled "Edit Default"
3) Select "SYSTEM" and take a screenshot
4) Select "SELF" and take a screenshot
5) Open the "Default Properties" tab
6) Take a screenshot
I'm just trying to see what all of your settings are to see if I can figure something out to help solve the problem.
Thanks for the cooperation, BM :whip:

Under the "Default Properties" tab, is "Default Impersonation Level" set to Identify? And under COM Security > Launch and Activation Permissions > Edit Default, what is checked for SYSTEM?

On my system, "Remote Launch" and "Remote Activation" are unchecked. Try unchecking them.

My pleasure. ^_^
I just got a minute as I'm very busy today:
BM, do you have an HP printer?
Also, for the shut down. Disable the auto shutdown on errors.
