The system has three accounts: The pre-defined admin and guest account, as well as the owners admin personal account. All I want is the system to directly boot to the personal account, but it keeps booting to the admin account. This has got to be something simple I'm missing. Ideas?

I didn't know you can configure XP to boot into a defined account when more than one account was on the machine. How did you do that?

Easiest way is to use Tweak-ui and the autologon function where you choose the personal user.

Tony,

Whenever I've installed 2000, it would boot into the personal account. Although the system I'm working on isn't a clean 2000 install, it just keeps wanting to boot into the pre-defined admin account. Even if I enable the logon screen, the name will show as administrator. I can change the name to the personal account and log into it that way, but the customer just wants it to boot directly into his account.

Rich,

I'll give that a go.
