Good Afternoon all, anyone that plays with computers might find it worth havina a look at this system rescue CD ISO.

It is available here free..http://www.sysresccd.org/System-tools

It is a Live Linux CD ISO with quite a few useful programs in it.

When a bootable CD is made from the ISO (using a suitable ISO burning program like BurnCDCC) it can be booted on and shows a command line, many of it's programs can be accessed from here, of if desired a GUI desktop window can be called up (instructions in text) and other programs accessed from there.

It reads most file systems and can access and alter NTFS files, it includes a viral scan tool and also a hard drive wipe, as well as Gparted. A partition recovery and other tools are also included.
It can access the internet, but I haven't gotten that far with it to this stage, this machine I am using is on wireless and I don't seem to be able to find any drivers in it for this card.

Certainly worth a look and a play with.

It may be worth even reading the destructions for the various included programs from the various sites.

Cheers, qldit.
