Good Afternoon fleamailman, for burning ISO's using windows, BurnCDCC is a most excellent program, it also has a burn speed control bar that allows slower speed burning for better integrity.
The check function is also included.
It is free, only a few hundred K's and operates with it's own simple window as a stand alone rather than having to be installed.

It easiest to simply download and unpack it to a folder on the desktop and open it from there.

Open it, direct it to the ISO file, place a CD in the burner, set as applicable and you have a perfect burn every time!! (touch wood!!) LOL!!

(Scroll down to find it amoungst all their really great programs!!)

It is an ISO burning program, nothing more!

Cheers, qldit.

Good Evening All, by the way fleamailman, Puppy Linux 2.16 Beta will be released in the next few days, it is supposed to be pretty good.

I have been playing with a new system released a few days ago, Elive Linux, it has some very innovative ideas and the latest Gentoo, very formal and very well designed but it doesn't like my wireless network.

I am quite sure if BM had a play with one of these live linux systems she would be smitten, but they are really only designed for multi-skilled people or any one that has reasonable skills with multi-tasking so probably wouldn't suit her!! LOL!!

Check out the "Distro Watch" and factor in "all systems", "May", "2007" it is quite amazing the way the competition to create more and better systems is accellerating.

One of these days I may even have to think about putting an anti-virus program on this machine I am using, it has Puppy Linux 2.14 currently loaded, but that will probably eventuate and some years to come.
I have to chuckle when I see people still using that archaic winblows or what ever it was called!! LOL!!

Cheers, qldit.
