I've got several Win XP users setup for roaming profiles in a Win 2k3 domain. Every now and then when a user logs in to a different workstation, the profile get's corrupted. Internet access for the profile gets blocked. In order to fix the profile, you have to completely delete from the server profile folder and the local profile in order to fix the internet access block.

So far, I havent found any solutions at microsoft.com and I'm getting tired of rebuilding the profile..any sugestions..

Just found a quick fix: all of the fixes I've read recommends doing a profile rebuild. That means, you'l have to redo all of the pofile setup for program(s) used, from Outlook, to Blackberry.

go to "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard\inetwiz.exe" run the inetwiz.exe and simply redo connection. This will repair the internet connection/corruption in the profile. It saves' your from rebuilding the whole profile.

Thanks for that Alex.

I've been using inetwiz for years. I'm suprised by how few techs seem to know about it. No need to navigate through the C drive though, just type inetwiz from the Run command.
