New Version Ad Muncher v 4.81

Dear Cynthia,

Today we've made available Ad Muncher v4.81, which includes several

important bug fixes over v4.8. These fixes include problems that

recently began affecting Facebook.com, Google.com, and some other

major sites, so this is a highly recommended update.

The new version can be downloaded from:

We're still hard at work on upcoming versions of Ad Muncher, but we

thought it was important to get these fixes out without delay.

KEWL - I was having to disable Ad-muncher whenever I went on my alumni facebook account. Now everything is working (for some reason they always want to CHAT grrrr LOL).

Oh by the way - run the updates TWICE! There is a build already for the 4.81 initial update. Seems the crew at Admuncher are keeping up with the patches out there that need to be done for their product to do it's job and still let websites through that are "safe".

I did not have to go to a web site to download the new version .... like
Firefox, a notice and smooth transition. Great product!

You shouldn't have to download "updates" from the web site except when they have a major release OR you have waited too long to check the updates

Dan, my point was that AdMuncher alerted me to the new version and,
with my OK, downloaded and installed it! Firefox does that also.

I do check for updates regularly. In fact, I checked for an update today,
and three times it would not go through. They must have been busy.
Finally went through a short while ago.

Don't be mad at me. I learned my lesson a while back, thanks to you. ..
