Solved Can't choose my own system restore date?

I wish to do a system restore but to a date of my own choosing and I am not seeing that option, what i am seeing is a list of "updates" and I have to choose to restore to a date before any of the updates listed, is there a way for me to choose my own restore date?

    Hi Mike,

Did you select the box "show other restore points"? Selecting that box should show you different dates.

    See attachment....

    Hi Mike,

To create a restore point in Windows 7....

Open Control Panel, Select View by > Large Icons. Click on System > System Protection. In the
System Properties box select Create. Name your restore point and click create. When the restore
point has finished being created, click on the Close button, hit okay.
